Sun Rays
Anytime light interacts with some material, 3 things can happen. The light can be transmitted, it can be reflected, or it can be absorbed.
If we say that light is “blocked” it means that it is either absorbed or reflected by the material.
The band of radiation of most concern from health perspective is ultraviolet or UV radiation. We cannot see the sun’s ultraviolet radiation, but it has a major impact on the human body

•Penetrate deeply into the skin•Main cause of premature ageing
•Involved in skin cancer and suppression of immune system.
UVB rays (290 -320 nm)
•Responsible for sunburn and blistering of skin.•Also linked to suppression of the immune system and the skin cancer.
